2.06.010 - Office created.

Pursuant to Section 27640 of the Government Code of the state, there is created the office of county counsel. The county counsel shall be appointed by the board of supervisors.

2.06.020 - Term of office.

In accordance with Section 276410 of the Government Code of the state, the county counsel shall serve for four years from the time of their appointment and until their successor is appointed.

2.06.030 - Duties of county counsel.

Pursuant to Section 27642 of the Government Code of the state, the county counsel shall discharge all the duties vested by law in the district attorney other than those of public prosecutor.
