§ 93.01 SPARRING EXHIBITIONS AND BOXING CONTESTS UNLAWFUL. ¶
It shall be unlawful for any person to hold or conduct any sparring exhibition or boxing contest in any place in the city where a fee is charged for admission thereto. ('65 Code, § 5-5.01) (Ord. 101, passed - - ; Am. Ord. 53-C.S., passed - - ) Penalty, see § 10.99
§ 93.02 SPARRING OR BOXING INSTRUCTION. ¶
Sparring or boxing instruction conducted under the supervision of responsible persons at schools, churches, community centers, playgrounds or the Community Services Department may be given in the city, subject to such reasonable rules and regulations as may be established by the organization sponsoring such instruction when such rules and regulations are approved by the City Manager and Police Chief or by the Council.

§ 93.03 ELIMINATION TOURNAMENTS AMONG PARTICIPANTS. ¶
Elimination tournaments among participants in sparring or boxing instruction may be held in the city by sponsoring organizations, where no fee is charged for admission to the place of such tournament, subject to such rules and regulations as may be established by the sponsoring organization when such rules and regulations are approved by the City Manager and Police Chief or by the Council.
