2.64.010 - Appointment of relatives prohibited when.

No officer, whether elective or appointive, nor any other person having appointive powers in the county, shall appoint as his agent, assistant, deputy, clerk or employee, any person who is related to him, whether by consanguinity or affinity, within the second degree.

2.64.020 - Violators to receive no salary.

Any person acting in violation of this chapter shall be ineligible to receive any salary for any work rendered by him or her in violation of this chapter.

2.64.030 - Warrants to violators prohibited.

The county auditor and the county treasurer are instructed and prohibited from drawing any warrants on the county treasurer in favor of any person who renders service in the county in violation of this chapter.
