2.08.010 - Office created.¶
There is created in and for the county the office of county counsel.

2.08.020 - Appointment—Term.¶
The county counsel shall be appointed by the board of supervisors to serve for the term prescribed by law, such term to commence on January 1, 1963.

2.08.030 - Powers and duties.¶
The duties of the county counsel shall be as set forth in the Government Code of the state of California.

2.08.040 - Compensation.¶
The compensation of the county counsel shall be as set forth in Modoc County Ordinance 163, as amended.
