2.33.010 - Purpose.¶
The public purpose of the ordinance codified in this chapter is to more efficiently and economically administrate the departments of public health, environmental health, mental health and drug and alcohol abuse, by consolidating them all under one administrative head.

2.33.020 - Name—Organization—Findings and duties.¶
The department of county health services, under the direction of the director of county health services is established and will include all of the functions and duties of the former departments of public health, environmental health, mental health and drug and alcohol abuse, all of which said departments are merged into the newly created department of county health services.
