2.48.010 Membership¶
The board of supervisors designates the juvenile justice commission of Mariposa to act as the juvenile delinquency prevention commission, which shall be composed of not fewer than seven citizens. Said juvenile delinquency prevention commission is to act in accordance with the provisions of the Welfare and Institutions Code.

The purpose of the juvenile delinquency prevention commission shall be to coordinate on a county-wide basis the work of those governmental and non-governmental organizations engaged in activities designed to prevent juvenile delinquency.
