7.59.010 - Employee positions designated.

The following designated employee positions may enforce the provisions of California Health and Safety Code Section 452 by the arrest or by the issuance of citations. Persons employed in such positions and authorized to exercise the authority provided in Penal Code Section 836.5 are authorized to make arrests or issue citations for violations of any law, ordinance, rule, order or regulation enacted or provided for under Section 452 of the California Health and Safety Code. The designated employee positions are:

(1) County health officer;

(2) Chief of environmental health services; and

(3) Supervising sanitarian.
