7.44.010 - Certain laws adopted by reference.¶
Requirements for the construction, operation, occupancy, rent, lease, sublease, let, or hiring out for occupancy of the operation of any mobile home, mobile home park, or any portion thereof, shall be as provided in those certain documents hereinafter referred to which are hereby adopted as if fully set forth herein. These copies are on file for the use and examination of the public in the office of the county clerk and each is hereby adopted as the mobile home park act of Marin County, which together with the Marin County housing ordinance and the Marin County building ordinance shall regulate the erection, construction, enlargement, alteration, repair, moving, removal, conversion, demolition, occupancy, equipment, use, height, area and maintenance of mobilehomes and mobile home parks; the documents are described in paragraphs one and two hereof as follows:
(a) All that portion of the State Mobile Homes—Mobile Parks Act pertaining to mobile homes and mobilehome parks as provided for in Division 13, Part 2 of the Health and Safety Code of the state of California, unless stated otherwise in this chapter.
(b) Rules and regulations of the division of housing to implement, interpret and make specific provisions of the health and safety code relating to mobile homes and mobile home parks.

7.44.020 - Penalty for violation.¶
Any person who owns, operates or maintains a mobile home park within the unincorporated area of Marin County without a valid permit from the county health officer, or who otherwise violates the provisions of this chapter, is guilty of a misdemeanor. Except where other penalties are specified, each offense may be punished by a fine of not less than twenty-five dollars nor more than two hundred dollars, or by imprisonment in the county jail not to exceed thirty days, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
