7.12.010 - Movement of diseased animals prohibited.¶
It is unlawful and a misdemeanor for any person, firm or corporation to drive, move or otherwise transport in or through, or from place to place within the county of Marin, any animal affected or infected with glanders, farcy, anthrax, actinomycosis, hog cholera, swine plague, terminus bronchitis, tuberculosis, or any other contagious or infectious disease.

7.12.020 - Disposition by health officer.¶
It shall be the duty of any person, firm or corporation having in his possession or under his care or control, any animal suffering from any of the diseases enumerated in Section 7.12.010, to immediately notify the health officer thereof and it shall be the duty of the health officer to cause the carcass of any animal that has died from any of such disease to be destroyed by fire or by burial in quicklime.

7.12.030 - Use of diseased animals for feed prohibited.¶
It is unlawful and a misdemeanor for any person, firm or corporation to feed the carcass of any animal, or part of animal, that has died from any of such diseases to any fowls, swine or other domestic animals.

7.12.040 - Penalty for violation.¶
Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall be punished by a fine of not less than twenty-five dollars and not to exceed two hundred dollars or by imprisonment of not less than twenty-five days and not to exceed two hundred days or by both such fine and imprisonment.
