Chapter 18.82 — A-P AGRICULTURAL PRESERVE COMBINING DISTRICT

This district classification is intended to be applied in combination with other appropriate districts to establish the precise boundaries of agricultural preserves and to provide such additional restrictions upon the use of land as are necessary to comply with provisions of law which are applicable to agricultural preserves.

The regulations set out in this chapter shall apply in all agricultural preserve or A-P districts, and shall be subject to the provisions of Chapters 18.102 through 18.108 of this title. (Ord. 467 § 15, 1984)

In districts with which the A-P district is combined, uses permitted shall be those uses which are listed as uses permitted in the particular district with which the A-P district is combined, except as follows:

• (1) In cases where an agricultural preserve ("A-P") district or any portion thereof is covered by a contract between the owner and the county of Lassen under the California Land Conservation Act of 1965 and subsequent revisions, those uses listed in said contract as uses compatible with agriculture shall, within the area covered by said contract, be additional permitted uses;

(2) Other regulations shall be those which apply in the district with which the A-P district is combined.
