2.24.010 - Appointment of city clerk.¶
At the expiration of the existing term of the elected city clerk, the city manager shall appoint the city clerk. The city clerk shall hold office at the pleasure of the city manager. The city clerk appointed by the city manager is not required to be a resident or an elector of the city.

2.24.020 - Compensation of city clerk.¶
The city clerk shall receive such compensation as the council shall determine and fix in the annual budget as established by ordinance.
