2.20.010 - Administrative duties.

The county health officer shall have general supervision over all matters pertaining to the health and sanitary conditions of the county. The health officer may make such recommendations as he may deem proper for action by the board. He shall further perform all duties required of him by law.

2.20.020 - Enforcement duties.

The county health officer shall enforce and observe in the unincorporated territory of the county, all of the following:

A. Orders and ordinances of the board of supervisors pertaining to the public health and sanitary matters;

B. Orders, quarantine and other regulations and rules prescribed by the State Department of Health Services;

C. Statutes relating to public health.
