2.20.010 - Office created—Duties.

A. The office of waterworks superintendent is created, the incumbent of which shall be appointed by and serve during the pleasure of the city council.

B. The waterworks superintendent shall have charge of the operation, maintenance and repair of the city waterworks system, subject to the provision of the ordinance codified in this chapter and the direction of the city council.
