2.16.010 - Created—Appointment and compensation.¶
The office of the city inspector is created, and all appointments to said office shall be by resolution of the city council which shall also fix salary to be paid to the appointee to the office.

2.16.020 - Duties.¶
The city inspector shall issue all building, electrical and plumbing permits and shall be responsible for all building, electrical and plumbing inspection, as well as inspections which have for their objective elimination of fire hazards.
