13.12.010 - Visiting or maintaining gambling place.

It is unlawful for any person within the city to keep, maintain, conduct, control, have charge of, be present at or visit any house, room, place or apartment where any game is played, conducted, dealt or carried on with cards, dice or other device or contrivance for money, checks, chips, credit or any other representative or thing of value.

13.12.020 - Gambling unlawful.

It is unlawful for any person within the city to deal, play, carry on, participate in or bet at or against any game which is played, conducted, dealt or carried on with cards, dice or other device or contrivance for money, checks, chips, credit or any other representative or thing of value.

13.12.030 - Misdemeanor violations.

Any person violating the provisions, or failing to comply with any of the requirements, of the chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor as provided in chapter 1.04 of the Victorville Municipal Code.

13.12.040 - Administrative citation.

The city manager or his designee may issue an administrative citation and/or assess an administrative fine for the violation of any of the provisions of this Chapter as provided in chapter 1.05 of the Victorville Municipal Code.

13.12.050 - Continuing violations.

Each day a violation of this chapter is committed or permitted to continue shall constitute a separate offense.

13.12.060 - Remedies cumulative.

The remedies provided in this chapter are not to be construed as exclusive remedies and, in the event of violation, the city may pursue any proceedings or remedies otherwise provided by law.
