2.68.010 - Public official bonds.

The city clerk, city treasurer and finance director are each required to execute, to the city, public official bonds in such sum as may be determined by the city council; provided, however, that such sum shall not be less than one hundred thousand dollars. The premium on such bonds shall be paid by the city.

2.68.020 - Faithful performance bonds.

Each officer and employee as determined by the city manager shall be covered by an official bond to the city, as beneficiary, for the faithful performance of his duties and to account to the city for all moneys and other properties coming into his hands or control, such bond to be a blanket bond in such sum as may be determined by the city council. The premium on such bond shall be paid by the city.

2.68.030 - Honesty bonds.

All officers and employees of the city not herein otherwise required to give and execute an official bond, shall be covered by a public employees honesty blanket bond with a limit as determined by the city council indemnifying the city against loss of money or other property through larceny, theft, embezzlement, forgery, misappropriation, wrongful abstraction, wilful misapplication or other fraudulent or dishonest act or acts committed by any one or more of the officers or employees. The premium on such bond shall be paid by the city.
