2.40.010 - Creation of sewer division of the department of public works.¶
There is created the sewer division of the department of public works of the city to administer, control and manage the sewer system of this city.

2.40.020 - Sewer superintendent.¶
The city manager shall appoint a sewer superintendent who shall under the direction of the superintendent of public works, control and manage the sewer division.

2.40.030 - Duties of sewer superintendent and clerk.¶
The sewer superintendent shall have power and it shall be his duty to enforce all rules and regulations of this city concerning its sanitary sewer system, to supervise the maintenance and operation of the system and to make necessary repairs thereto. The clerk of the city shall have power and it shall be her duty to collect charges for the use of the sewer system.
