A utilities Commission is created in and for the City.

2.46.040 - Election of officers.

The Commission Shall annually elect one of its members as its chairperson and another of its members as a vice-chairperson whose terms Shall be the calendar Year.

The Commission May adopt its own rules for transacting Business.

2.46.060 - Powers and duties.

The Utilities Commission may:

A. Consider the annual budget for electric, water, sewer, and Refuse collection services during the process of its preparation and make recommendations with respect thereto to the City Council and the City Manager;

B. Recommend to the City Council schedules of rates for electric, water, sewer and Refuse services;

C. Make reports and recommendations to the City Council regarding electric, water, sewer and Refuse collection services.

The Utilities Commission Shall make reports and conduct Surveys as directed by the City Council.
