2.32.010 - Established.

Pursuant to the provisions of the Government code of the State, Title 7 Planning, the City Council establishes a Planning Commission to be known as the "Planning Commission of the City of Colton."

2.32.030 - Authority—Officer appointment—Duties.

The authority and duties of the Planning Commission are as provided by State Law and as delegated by the City Council. The Planning Commission Shall elect its chairman, whose term Shall be from January 1st, to December 31st, of each Year, or until election of a replacement. The Planning Commission May elect other officers of the Commission as they deem necessary at the same time and for the same term as the chairman.

The Planning Commission May establish its own rules for the conducting of Public Hearings and for the transaction of other Business, adopt resolutions of policy for implementing the City's Planning Program, approve the form and content of Permit Applications, require information as May be needed to consider Permit Applications, or for recommendations of the Commission.
