2.12.010 - City Clerk.

As consideration for those duties required by State Law to be performed by the City Clerk, the City Clerk Shall be paid a salary of four hundred and seven dollars ($407) per Month, payable at the time and in the manner that other salaries of the City are paid. The City Council may also, in its sole discretion, assign to the City Clerk, through the adoption of a job description, any other supplemental duties reasonably related to the elected City Clerk position, and may provide by Resolution for the oversight of such supplemental duties and for supplemental compensation to be paid for such supplemental duties. The City Council may also provide for such duties to be terminated in any manner it deems necessary. The City Clerk's acceptance and performance of the supplemental duties and supplemental compensation shall not give the City Clerk tenure at the City or otheiwise confer regular employment status upon the City Clerk.

2.12.020 - City Treasurer.

The Treasurer of the City shall be paid a salary of four hundred and seven dollars and zero cents ($407.00) per month payable at the time and in the manner that other salaries are paid, The City Council may provide by Resolution for supplemental compensation.

2.12.030 - City Council members.

The salary of each member of the City Council is fixed at One Thousand Six Hundred dollars ($1,600) per month. The compensation for the Mayor is set forth in Section 2.12.050.

2.12.040 - Clerk and Treasurer to give bond.

Before entering upon the duties of their offices, the City Clerk and City Treasurer Shall each execute a bond to the City. The penal sum of the bond Shall be in a reasonable amount recommended by the City Attorney and fixed by the City Council, by Resolution, and May be changed during their terms of office. Premium on these bonds, if executed by a surety company authorized to do Business in the State, Shall be paid by the City out of its General Fund.

The salary of the Mayor of the City is fixed at One Thousand Six Hundred dollars ($1,600) per month.
