11.32.010 - Designation.

The city council by resolution may designate certain highways or parts of highways under its jurisdiction as through highways, and the road commissioner shall cause to be erected stop signs at specified entrances thereto, or may designate any intersection under its exclusive jurisdiction as a stop intersection and the road commissioner shall cause stop signs to be erected at one or more entrances thereto.

11.32.020 - Stop signs.

The driver or operator of any vehicle traversing any street, road or highway intersection or any through highways, shall, upon approaching the entrance of the through highway, or any intersection sign posted with a stop sign as provided in this chapter, bring the vehicle to a full stop at such sign before entering or crossing such through highway or intersection.
