Sec. 2.40. - Fund created.¶

To comply with the provisions of the state Streets and Highways Code, sections 180 to 207, there is hereby created in the city treasury a special fund to be known as the "Special Gas Tax Street Improvement Fund".

Sec. 2.41. - Moneys to be paid into fund.¶

Moneys received by the city from the state under the provisions of the state Streets and Highways Code, sections 180 to 207, for the acquisition of real property or interests therein for, or the construction, maintenance or improvements of streets or highways other than state highways shall be paid into the special gas tax street improvement fund.

Sec. 2.42. - Expenditure of moneys in fund.¶

All moneys in the special gas tax street improvement fund shall be expended exclusively for the purposes authorized by, and subject to the state Streets and Highways Code, sections 180 to 207.
