Section 02-19 - Fields A, D, and G - Transaction Date

The Transaction Date, if present, is an eight-digit, all numeric field.

The Month of the Transaction Date must be in the range of 01 through 12.

The transaction date may not be later than the current processing date and not earlier than the earliest date allowed.

On the correction run, a date earlier than the earliest date allowed is valid, but it can't be before the following dates.

For BMF-1961-12-01 (i.e., December 1, 1961)

For IMF-1962-12-01 (i.e., December 1, 1962)

For IRAF-1976-01-01 (RAW PASS), 1962-12-01 (CORR)
