3.41.010 - Creation.

There is created pursuant to Section 713 of the Charter of the city a special fund to be known and referred to as the "Mare Island Conversion Fund" into which shall be deposited various Mare Island conversion funds from federal, state, and local sources.

3.41.020 - Use of fund.

The fund shall be used only to undertake or support activities related to the conversion of Mare Island Naval Shipyard from military to civilian use.

3.41.030 - Administration of fund.

The procedure utilized by officers and employees of the city in the fiscal management, accounting, and auditing operations pertaining to control and disbursement of the money deposited in this fund shall conform to rules and guidelines established by the agencies from which funds are received. After reasonable notice, the officers and employees of the city having charge of the books, documents, papers and records relating to the money shall, upon authorization of the city manager, make same available to the authorized officials of these agencies or their respective designees.
