2.82.010 - Established.¶
A. There is hereby created and established, pursuant to Welfare and Institutions Code section 880 et seq., a juvenile camp for the County of Shasta.
B. Said camp shall be known as the River's Edge Academy and may be so designated in court orders and other official documents.
C. Said camp shall be situated at the site presently known as the Shasta County Juvenile Rehabilitation Facility, located at 2684 Radio Lane, Redding, California, unless changed by resolution of the Shasta County Board of Supervisors.
D. Said camp shall be under the management and control of the Shasta County Chief Probation Officer.

2.82.020 - Court wards—Work and study requirements.¶
In accordance with Welfare and Institutions Code section 883, all court wards committed to the River's Edge Academy may be required to perform work and engage in studies and activities on or off the grounds of said juvenile camp as prescribed by the Shasta County Chief Probation Officer.
