2.80.010 - Established.¶
There shall be maintained in the building and premises presently used for that purpose, located on the county property south of the city of Redding, county of Shasta, a juvenile hall for the county of Shasta, within the meaning of Section 850 of the Welfare and Institutions Code of the state, such location approved by the presiding judge of the Superior Court of California, county of Shasta.

2.80.020 - Operation of schools.¶
All schools established and maintained pursuant to Sections 850 and 856 of the Welfare and Institutions Code, and pursuant to this chapter, shall be maintained by the county superintendent of schools. The county board of education shall have the same powers and duties with respect to such schools as the governing board of a school district would have were said schools maintained by the school district.
