8.12.250: REPORT REQUIRED:

It is the duty of every physician and of every person in charge of any hospital, dispensary or other private or public institution in the county to report in writing to the health officer and on the form provided for that purpose by the state department of public health, the name, residence and such other information as may be required, of every person having tuberculosis, who comes under his or her observation. (Prior code § 34400)

8.12.260: TIME FOR REPORT:

Such reports shall show the stage of the disease and must be forwarded to the health officer within twenty four (24) hours after the knowledge of the case comes to such physician or person. (Prior code § 34401)

8.12.270: REPORT OF DISCHARGE OF PATIENT:

Whenever a patient with tuberculosis is discharged from any institution or hospital or other public or private place, a report of such discharge, giving the status of the disease, with the address to which the patient is going, shall be forwarded to the health officer within twenty four (24) hours thereafter. (Prior code § 34402)

8.12.280: SANITARY DISPOSAL OF EXCRETIONS:

No person having tuberculosis, shall dispose of his sputum, saliva, or other bodily secretion or excretion so as to cause offense or danger to any person or persons occupying the same room or apartment or house or part of a house. (Prior code § 34403)

8.12.290: ENFORCEMENT:

In all cases of violation of section 8.12.280 of this article, the health officer shall take such steps as he may find necessary to protect the public health. (Prior code § 34404)
