Monte Sereno Municipal Code Ch. 4.17 False or Unfounded Reports

No person shall knowingly and wilfully furnish, give or make a false, misleading or unfounded report to the City Police or to the City.

Anyone who furnishes, gives or makes a report to the City or knowingly falsifies, conceals or covers up by any trick, scheme, or device any fact, or makes any false, fictitious or fraudulent statement or representation, or makes or uses any false writing or document when he or she knows or reasonably should know the same to contain any false, fictitious or fraudulent statement or other misrepresentation with respect to the report is guilty of a misdemeanor.
