4.10.010 - Applicability of parking regulations.

The provisions of the Chapter prohibiting the standing or parking of a vehicle shall apply at all times or at those times specified herein, except when it is necessary to stop a vehicle to avoid conflict with other traffic or in compliance with the lawful directions of a Police Officer or official traffic-control device.

4.10.020 - Parking regulation.

When approved by resolution of the City Council and appropriate signs or markings are in place giving notice, no person shall stop, stand or park any vehicle on any highway or street in the City or on any offstreet parking facility, which is owned or operated by the City, at a time or for a longer period than such resolution provides.

4.10.030 - Removal of illegally parked vehicles—Authorized.

When provided by resolution of the City Council, the Chief of Police or any regularly employed and salaried employee of the City Police who is engaged in directing traffic or enforcing parking laws and regulations and who is designated by the Chief of Police may remove a vehicle from a highway when the vehicle is parked or left standing under circumstances prohibited by such resolution. No vehicle may be removed unless signs are posted that warn of the circumstances under which the vehicle may be removed.
