4.07.010 - Street use other than for traffic; removal of parked vehicles; sign required.¶
A. Whenever the use of a street within the City of Monte Sereno is authorized by the City Manager for a purpose other than the normal flow of traffic and any vehicle, as that term is defined in the Vehicle Code of California, is parked in such a way as to interfere with the use of the street for that purpose approved by the City Manager, then any of the following persons may remove or cause to be removed any vehicle parked on the street at the expense of the owner thereof;
Any peace officer, as that term is defined in Chapter 4.5 (commencing with Section 830) of Title 3 of Part 2 of the Penal Code; and/or
The Code Enforcement Officer of the City of Monte Sereno.
B. Signs giving notice that such a parked vehicle may be removed shall be erected or placed on the street at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to the removal of a vehicle by the City of Monte Sereno pursuant to this Section.
C. This section 4.07.010 is adopted pursuant to the provisions of section 22651 of the Vehicle Code of California.
