15.33.010 - Parking prohibited.

It shall be unlawful for the driver of any vehicle to park upon any roadway unless an unobstructed distance of not less than six feet is maintained to the centerline or to the center of the improved or main traveled portion of the road.

15.33.020 - Penalty for interference.

It shall be unlawful for any person to willfully remove, obliterate or conceal any chalk mark or other distinguishing mark used in connection with the enforcement of parking regulations.

15.33.030 - Stinson Beach parking fine zone.

The parking of vehicles on the following roads, or portions thereof is prohibited at all times:

(a) Calle del Arroyo:

(1) Along the southerly side, beginning at its intersection with State Route 1 (Shoreline Highway) and extending northerly to its terminus at Seadrift Road along the northerly side, beginning at its intersection with State Route 1 (Shoreline Highway) and extending northerly for a distance of three hundred feet; and along the northerly side, beginning at its terminus at Seadrift Road and extending southerly for a distance of one hundred twenty feet.

(b) State Route 1 (Shoreline Highway):

(1) Along the southerly side, beginning at the intersection with Calle del Arroyo and extending southerly to its intersection with Calle del Mar.

(c) Arenal Avenue:

(1) Along both sides of Arenal Avenue beginning at the intersection with Shoreline Highway, extending west a distance of approximately one hundred feet.

(2) Along the north side of Arenal Avenue, beginning at the intersection with Calle del Mar, extending east, a distance of approximately eighty feet (along the entire frontage of the Village Green, APN #195-194-01).

(3) Along the north side of Arenal Avenue, beginning at a point on the west side of the bridge to a point on the west side of the driveway to #18 Arenal Avenue (APN #195-194-32), a distance of approximately one hundred twenty-five feet.

(4) Along the south side of Arenal Avenue, beginning at a point on the east side of the driveway to #43 Arenal Avenue (APN #195-221-01) located on the west side of the bridge to a point on the west side of the driveway to #2 Marine Way (APN #195-221-03) located on Arenal Avenue, immediately adjacent to the east side of the bridge, a distance of approximately fifty-five feet.

(5) Along the north side of Arenal Avenue, beginning at a point on the east side of the driveway to #10 Arenal Avenue (APN #195-194-14) and extending east a distance of approximately twenty-eight feet.

(d) Calle del Mar:

(1) Along the east side of Calle Del Mar, beginning at the intersection with Buena Vista Avenue to the intersection with Shoreline Highway (State Route 1), a distance of approximately two hundred eighty feet.

(2) Along the east side of Calle Del Mar, beginning at the intersection with Shoreline Highway (State Route 1) to the intersection with Arenal Avenue, a distance of approximately two hundred feet.

(3) Along the west side of Calle Del Mar, beginning at the intersection with Buena Vista Avenue, extending south a distance of approximately thirty-eight feet (as measured along the edge of the roadway tangent along APN #195-191-36).

(4) Along the west side of Calle Del Mar, beginning at the intersection with Shoreline Highway (State Route 1), extending south a distance of approximately twelve feet (in front of the pathway connection to APN #195-192-05).

(5) Along the west side of Calle Del Mar, beginning at the intersection with Arenal Avenue, extending north a distance of approximately one hundred feet (along the frontage of APN #195-192-07 and a portion APN#195-192-05).

Every person violating this traffic order adopted under this section shall be guilty of an infraction and shall be punished upon a conviction by a fine established by resolution of the board of supervisors. Pursuant to Section 22650 et seq. of the California Vehicle Code, the County Sheriff and California Highway Patrol are hereby authorized to tow away vehicles parked in violation of this section.

15.33.031 - Muir Beach parking fine zone.

The parking of vehicles on the following roads, or portions thereof is prohibited at all times:

(a) Pacific Way along the northerly side from State Route 1 (Shoreline Highway) to its terminus; along the southerly side from its intersection with State Route 1 (Shoreline Highway) and continuing west for a distance of eight hundred fifty-eight feet; and along the southerly side beginning at its terminus and continuing east for a distance of seventy feet.

(b) Pacific Way on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays only between the hours of eleven a.m. and six p.m. along the southerly side beginning at a point eight hundred fifty-eight feet west of its intersection with State Route 1 (Shoreline Highway) and continuing westerly for a distance of three hundred thirty feet.

(c) State Route 1 (Shoreline Highway) along the easterly side for a distance of eighty feet south and seven hundred twenty feet north from the centerline of Pacific Way and along the westerly side for a distance of one thousand four hundred sixty feet south and four hundred fifteen feet north from the centerline of Pacific Way.

Every person violating this traffic order adopted under this section shall be guilty of an infraction and shall be punished upon a conviction by a fine established by resolution of the board of supervisors.

Pursuant to Section 22650 et seq. of the California Vehicle Code, the county sheriff and California Highway Patrol are hereby authorized to tow away vehicles parked in violation of this section.

15.33.032 - Bolinas parking fine zone.

The parking of vehicles on the following roads, or portions thereof is prohibited at all times:

(a) Brighton Avenue at the following locations:

(i) On the west side beginning at the southernmost intersection with Park Avenue to its terminus.

(ii) On the east side beginning twenty-five feet north of the intersection with Cliff Road to its southerly terminus.

(iii) The southern terminus from east to west.

(b) Cliff Road:

(i) On both sides from Brighton Avenue to a point one hundred eight feet easterly.

(c) Park Avenue at the following locations:

(i) On the northeast side beginning one hundred forty-eight feet west of the southernmost intersection with Brighton Avenue and extending to a point eighty feet north of the intersection with Terrace Avenue.

(ii) On the southwestern side of Park Avenue beginning at the southernmost intersection with Brighton Avenue and extending north to the intersection with Terrace Avenue.

(iii) On the easterly side of Park Avenue beginning at a point one hundred sixty feet south of its northern intersection with Brighton Avenue and extending one hundred seventy-five feet southerly.

(iv) On the westerly side beginning at the northerly intersection with Brighton Avenue and continuing southerly for a distance of two hundred seventy-six feet.

(v) On the westerly side beginning at the intersection with Terrace Avenue and continuing northerly for a distance of two hundred sixteen feet.

(d) Olema-Bolinas Road at the following locations:

(i) On west side, beginning at the intersection with Mesa Road, extending south a distance of approximately one thousand one hundred feet (ending a distance of approximately three hundred fifty feet north of the center line of Brighton Avenue).

(ii) On east side, beginning on the south side of the driveway entrance to APN #193-020-54, located directly across from the Mesa Road intersection, extending south a distance of approximately one thousand four hundred feet (ending a distance of approximately twenty-five feet north of the center line of Brighton Avenue).

Every person violating this traffic order adopted under this section shall be guilty of an infraction and shall be punished upon a conviction by a fine established by resolution of the board of supervisors. Pursuant to Section 22650 et seq. of the California Vehicle Code, the County Sheriff and California Highway Patrol are hereby authorized to tow away vehicles parked in violation of this section.

15.33.033 - Muir Woods Road parking fine zone.

The parking of vehicles along the shoulder of the following portions of Muir Woods Road* is prohibited at all times:

(a) Westbound lane of Muir Woods Road beginning at milepost 0.59 and extending west approximately ten thousand eight hundred feet to milepost 2.81.

(b) Eastbound lane of Muir Woods Road beginning at milepost 0.59 and extending west approximately five thousand three hundred feet to milepost 1.76.

(c) Eastbound lane of Muir Woods Road beginning at milepost 1.90 and extending west three hundred feet to milepost 1.96.

(d) Eastbound lane of Muir Woods Road beginning at milepost 2.09 and extending west ninety feet to milepost 2.11.

(e) Eastbound lane of Muir Woods Road beginning at milepost 2.19 and extending west two hundred twenty-five feet to milepost 2.23.

(f) Eastbound lane of Muir Woods Road beginning at milepost 2.25 and extending west approximately two thousand nine hundred sixty feet to milepost 2.81.

* Due to the winding configuration of Muir Woods Road, "eastbound" refers to towards the intersection with Panoramic Highway and "westbound" refers to towards the intersection with Shoreline Highway (near Muir Beach).

Every person violating this traffic order adopted under this section shall be punished upon a conviction by a fine established by resolution of the board of supervisors.
