Marin County Municipal Code Ch. 15.31 Housing Authority Parking Restrictions

It shall be unlawful to park or leave standing any vehicle, whether attended or unattended, in a housing authority parking lot, except as follows:

(a) Vehicles in housing authority parking lots shall display a valid housing authority parking permit and be parked in the designated, marked stall indicated on the parking permit.

It shall be unlawful to park outside designated parking markings. No portion of a vehicle shall extend beyond the markings.

Except as provided herein, all the provisions of the California Vehicle Code relating to motorized and non-motorized traffic upon the highways shall be applicable to traffic upon the driveways, paths or grounds of the housing authority.

It shall be unlawful for the driver of any vehicle to park on any sidewalk, parking strip, grass or common areas on housing authority property.

Every person violating this traffic order adopted under this section shall be guilty of an infraction, punishable by a fine established by resolution of the board of supervisors.

Marin County Sheriff and California Highway Patrol are hereby authorized to tow away vehicles parked in violation of California Vehicle Code Section 22651(n).
