§ 5-22.01. Restrictions.¶
No person shall sell or offer for sale personal property in any residential zone except personal property owned, utilized, and maintained by such person or members of his or her family on or in connection with the premises which they occupy. Personal property offered for sale shall not be displayed in the front or side yards of any such premises; provided, however, a vehicle offered for sale may be displayed on a permanently constructed driveway within such front or side yards.

§ 5-22.02. Garage, yard and similar sales.¶
Garage, yard and similar sales may be conducted only on the first weekend in the months of March, June, September and December of each year commencing from and after January 1, 2009. "Weekend" as used in this chapter means Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. inclusive. The City Manager shall have the authority to select an alternate weekend if a designated weekend is not available for such sales due to inclement weather or an emergency.

§ 5-22.03. Exceptions.¶
The provisions of this chapter shall not apply to sales of personal property made under court orders or processes.

§ 5-22.04. Nonprofit organization sales.¶
Nonprofit organizations may conduct sales of personal property for fundraising purposes, subject to the terms and conditions set forth in Section 5-22.02, except as modified herein. Such sales shall be conducted only on property occupied by the organization. Only one such sale may be conducted in any six month period. There must be adequate parking available for such sales, and no sale shall interfere with normal traffic flow. Should any food be sold at such sales, the organization shall comply with all applicable legal requirements.
