§ 15.20.010. Adoption of the California Historical Building Code.¶
The California Historical Building Code, 2025 Edition (Part 8 of Title 24 of the California Code of Regulations), as published by the California Legislature, is hereby adopted. One complete copy of the same is on file and is open for inspection by the public in the office of the city clerk and designated as the historical building code for the city of Highland. The building official is hereby designated as the authority charged with the administration and enforcement of this code.

§ 15.20.020. Purpose.¶
The purpose of this code is to prescribe regulations for the construction, repair, alteration, enlargement, equipment, maintenance, addition to, replacement, demolition, and relocation in regard to historical buildings or structures.
