§ 15.10.010. Adoption of the California Mechanical Code.¶
The California Mechanical Code, 2025 Edition (Part 4 of Title 24 of the California Code of Regulations), including Chapter 1, Division II "Administration" based on the 2024 Uniform Mechanical Code, as published by IAPMO, is hereby adopted by reference. One complete copy of the same is on file and is open for inspection by the public in the office of the city clerk and designated as the mechanical code for the city of Highland. The building official is hereby designated authority charged with the administration and enforcement of this code.

§ 15.10.020. Purpose.¶
The purpose of these codes is to prescribe regulations for the construction, repair, alteration, enlargement, equipment, maintenance, addition to, replacement, demolition, and relocation in regard to mechanical installations, modifications and systems.
