§ 15.12.010. Adoption of the California Plumbing Code.¶
The California Plumbing Code, 2025 Edition (Part 5 of Title 24 of the California Code of Regulations) including Chapter 1, Division II "Administration" with Appendix H, based on the 2024 International Plumbing Code, as published by IAPMO, is hereby adopted by reference. One complete copy of the same is on file and is open for inspection by the public in the office of the city clerk and designated as the plumbing code for the city of Highland. The building official is hereby designated as the authority charged with the administration and enforcement of this code.

§ 15.12.020. Purpose.¶
The purpose of this code is to prescribe regulations for the construction, repair, alteration, enlargement, equipment, maintenance, addition to, replacement, demolition, and relocation in regard to plumbing installations, equipment, modifications and systems.
