§ 8.60.010 PROHIBITION.¶
No person shall, without a permit from the City Council, operate, or permit to be operated, any motor vehicle under his or her control, upon the Municipal Golf Course, or upon any public park, bridle trail, equestrian trail, bicycle trail or pedestrian trail, in the city.

§ 8.60.020 EXCLUSIONS.¶
This chapter shall not apply to any public road or alley or to any crossing thereof, or to the use of motorized golf club carriers when authorized by the operator of the Municipal Golf Course, or to any person while exercising his or her rights as lessor of any such property, or to any person while in the performance of his or her duties as an employee or agent, of any such lessor, or of the city, or of the county, or of the state, or of any commission, committee, division, department or agency thereof; nor shall this chapter apply to any person contracting for any inspection, care, repair or improvement of any such property, or any installation or work thereon, or to the employees or agents of any such contracting person, while he or she, his or her agents and employees are so acting in the performance of such contract.

§ 8.60.030 SIGNS.¶
The Traffic Engineer is authorized to install and maintain such clearly legible signs at such entrances to, and other places on, such property when approved by the City Manager to aid in the enforcement of this chapter. Any failure to install or maintain any such sign shall not entitle any person to operate a motor vehicle contrary to the provisions of this chapter.
