§ 8.36.010 CROSSWALKS ESTABLISHED BY TRAFFIC ENGINEER.¶
The City Traffic Engineer is authorized to establish and maintain and to designate upon the surface of the roadway by appropriate devices, marks or painted lines, crosswalks approximately equal in width to the adjacent sidewalk at all intersections where in his or her opinion it is a particular danger to a pedestrian crossing the roadway. In addition, he or she may establish crosswalks 15 feet in width as near the middle as it is practicable of any block.

§ 8.36.020 PEDESTRIANS TO USE CROSSWALK IN BUSINESS DISTRICT.¶
When within the Business District, no pedestrian shall cross a roadway other than at a crosswalk.
