2.04.010 - Appointment of city treasurer.

The chief financial officer shall be responsible to perform those duties and responsibilities provided for under the California Government Code for the office of city treasurer. The chief financial officer shall be designated by the city manager.

2.04.020 - Compensation of city treasurer.

The city treasurer shall receive the sum of one dollar per fiscal year, payable on the last day of the fiscal year, to perform those duties required of the position. In the event that the city treasurer serves a term of less than one full fiscal year, the treasurer shall receive, on the last day of employment the sum of one dollar for that portion of the fiscal year of which such person served as city treasurer.
