Appendix I. Comprehensive Speed Zone Resolution
BEFORE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FARMERSVILLE COUNTY OF TULARE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY;eol;OF FARMERSVILLE ESTABLISHING A COMPREHENSIVE;eol;SPEED ZONE ON CERTAIN CITY STREETS:;eol;;lf=_>
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 277 of the City Council of the City of Farmersville created a Comprehensive Speed Zone, and
WHEREAS, based upon an engineering and traffic study, in accordance with the California Vehicle Code Section 22357 allowing a local authority to set speed limits, it is necessary from time to time to redesignate Speed Zones on certain City streets contained in the Comprehensive Speed Zone Resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Farmersville as follows:
Section 1. It is determined and declared that on the following designated streets a maximum speed of 35 miles per hour is established: ;b1;South Farmersville Boulevard;b2;From the north side of East Oakland Street to the south City limits. ;b1;North Farmersville Boulevard;b2;From a point 490 feet north of East Citrus Drive (Consolidated Peoples Ditch) to a point 240 feet north of Ave. 288. ;b1;East Visalia Road;b2;From a point 144 feet east of the east side of Larry Street to the east City limits. ;b1;West Visalia Road;b2;From the east side of North Steven Ave. to the west City limits.
Section 2. It is determined and declared that on the following designated streets a maximum of 55 miles per hour is established: ;b1;North Farmersville Boulevard;b2;From a point 240 feet north of Ave. 288 to the north City limits. ;b1;Avenue 288 (west of N. Farmersville Blvd.);b2;From the west side of North Farmersville Boulevard to the west City limits.
Section 3. It is determined and declared that all other locations and streets have a maximum speed of 25 miles per hour as established.
Moved by Councilmember Miller, seconded by Councilmember Vanderslice and adopted by the following vote on the 12th day of September, 1984 at a regular council meeting:
