Sec. 2-106. - Creation of office.

There is hereby created the office of director of public works/city engineer. Wherever in city documents, including the City Code the terms: "director of public works," "city engineer," or "director of development services" (as to the city engineer responsibilities of that position) are used they shall mean "director of public works/city engineer."

Sec. 2-107. - Oath.

The person appointed Director of Public Works/City Engineer shall, before taking office, take the oath of office as prescribed for other city officials.
