10.48.010 - Crosswalks at intersections.

The director may establish, designate and maintain crosswalks at intersections and other places by appropriate devices, marks, or lines upon the surface of the roadway.

10.48.020 - Crosswalks at mid-block when.

Other than crosswalks at intersections, no crosswalk shall be established in any block which is less than four hundred feet in length and such crosswalk shall be located as near as practicable to mid-block.

10.48.030 - Crossing restricted by signs.

The director may place signs at any intersection or other location to prohibit pedestrian crossings.

10.48.040 - Pedestrians constituting a hazard to vehicles prohibited.

No person other than a police officer or authorized personnel of the city, while performing their duties, shall enter, stand, or travel upon a roadway in such a manner as to impede a vehicle traveling upon such roadway. This does not preclude any vehicle operator from exercising due care and caution with regard to pedestrians using a roadway.
