Chapter 18.96 — IMPROVEMENT SECURITY

§ 18.96.010. Improvement security subject to city approval.

Any security in connection with the performance of any act or agreement shall be subject to the approval of the city council and city attorney.

§ 18.96.020. Performance bond specifications.

A bond or bonds by one or more duly authorized corporate sureties to secure the faithful performance of any agreement shall be in the form required by the Map Act, Section 66499.1. (Prior code § 27-71.02; Amended during 1990 codification)

§ 18.96.030. Labor and material bonds—Form and contents.

A bond or bonds by one or more duly authorized corporate sureties for the security of laborers and materialmen shall be in the form required by Section 66499.2 of the Map Act. (Prior code § 27-71.03; Amended during 1990 codification)

§ 18.96.040. Labor and material bonds—Amounts.

Security to guarantee the performance of any act or agreement shall be in the amounts required by Section 66499.3 of the Map Act.

§ 18.96.050. Release of security.

The security furnished by the subdivider shall be released in whole or in part in the manner provided by Section 66499.7 of the Map Act.
