Sec. 4-9.601. - Stop signs and yield signs.¶
Whenever any ordinance or resolution of the City designates and describes any street, or portion thereof, as a through street, or any intersection at which vehicles are required to stop at one or more entrances thereto, or any railroad grade crossing at which vehicles are required to stop, the Public Works Department shall erect and maintain stop signs. A stop sign shall be erected on each and every intersection of such through street, or portion thereof, so designated, at those entrances or other intersections where a stop is required, and at any railroad grade crossing so designated. Every such sign shall conform with and shall be placed as provided in the Vehicle Code of the State.
It is further provided that whenever any ordinance or resolution of the City designates and describes any intersection at which vehicles are required to yield to oncoming traffic, the Public Works Department shall erect and maintain a yield sign at such intersection. Every such sign shall conform with and shall be placed as provided in the Vehicle Code of this State.

Sec. 4-9.602. - Through streets.¶
The following streets are designated as through streets:
(a) Plumas Street from Queens Avenue to Del Norte Avenue, and from Del Norte Avenue to Colusa Avenue, and from Colusa Avenue through B Street;
(b) Bridge Street from Second Street to the west City limits;
(c) Shasta Street from Colusa Avenue to Bridge Street;
(d) Queens Avenue from its easterly terminus (junction with Market Street) to Live Oak Boulevard, from Live Oak Boulevard to El Dorado Lane, and from El Dorado Lane to Stabler Lane;
(e) Cooper Avenue from Colusa Avenue to B Street;
(f) Second Street from Sutter Street to B Street and from B Street through to Garden Highway;
(g) Percy Avenue from B Street to Garden Highway;
(h) Live Oak Boulevard from Colusa Avenue to the north City limits;
(i) Clark Avenue from the south City limits to Colusa Avenue and from Colusa Avenue to the north City limits;
(j) Garden Highway from Second Street to the south City limits;
(k) Reeves Avenue from Cooper Avenue through Walnut Street;
(l) B Street from Second Street to Gray Avenue;
(m) Gray Avenue from Franklin Avenue to Northgate Drive;
(n) Franklin Avenue from Garden Highway to Percy Avenue and from Percy Avenue to the west City limits;
(o) Forbes Avenue from Plumas Street to Cooper Avenue and from Clark Avenue to Gray Avenue;
(p) Butte House Road from Gray Avenue to the West City limits;
(q) Stabler Lane between Butte House Road and the north City limits;
(r) Railroad Avenue from the south City limits through Richland Road;
(s) Market Street from the north Colusa Avenue frontage road to its northerly terminus (junction with Queens Avenue);
(t) Wilbur Avenue from Garden Highway to B Street;
(u) Lincoln Road from the east City limits to the west City limits;
(v) West Onstott Frontage Road from Peach Tree Lane to the north City limits;
(w) East Onstott Frontage Road, Kenny Drive to the north City limits;
(x) Walton Avenue, south City limits to the north City limits;
(y) Civic Center Boulevard from Colusa Avenue to Butte House Road; and
(z) Northgate Drive, from East Onstott Frontage Road to Live Oak Boulevard.
