Sec. 4-16.01. - Qualification to receive aid.

The City Council of the City of Yuba City does hereby declare that it is the desire of the City of Yuba City to qualify and receive aid from the State of California under the provisions of Penal Code § 13522.

Sec. 4.16.02. - Adherence to standards for recruitment and training.

Pursuant to Section 13510(c), Chapter 1, the Yuba City Police Department will adhere to the standards for recruitment and training established by the California Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (P.O.S.T).

Sec. 4.16.03. - Enforcement.

Pursuant to Section 13512, Chapter 1, the Commission and its representative may make such inquiries as deemed appropriate by the Commission to ascertain that the Yuba City Police Department public safety dispatcher personnel adhere to the standards for selection and training established by the Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training.
