Sec. 4-14.01. - Restricted.

It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, or corporation to erect, maintain, allow, or suffer to be erected, maintained, or allowed at any time of the day or night at any place within the City any electrical fence, wire, or wire fence, or any metallic substance, or any other electrical conductor which is carrying, conducting, or charged with electricity of any degree whatever which is not completely covered with a sufficiently heavy insulation to protect all persons and property against any shock, injury, or damage whatever.

Sec. 4-14.02. - Insulation.

No such electrical fence, wire, or wire fence, or metallic substance or other electrical conductor which is carrying, conducting, or charged with electricity of any degree whatever shall be mounted, hung, suspended, or otherwise affixed outside any building at any place less than ten ft. above the surface of the adjacent ground, paving, or land, unless the same is completely covered and insulated as provided in Section 4-14.01 of this chapter.
