Sec. 4-9.1001. - Parallel parking.¶
Except as otherwise provided in this chapter, every vehicle stopped or parked on a two-way street where there are adjacent curbs shall be stopped or parked with the right-hand wheels of such vehicle parallel and within 18 in. of the curb facing the direction of traffic. Where no curbs or barriers bound each roadway, parallel parking shall be required unless otherwise indicated. The provisions of this section shall not apply to a commercial vehicle when loading or unloading merchandise or passengers.

Sec. 4-9.1002. - Signs or markings indicating angle parking.¶
(a) Whenever any ordinance of the City designates and describes any street, or portion thereof, upon which angle parking shall be permitted, the Public Works Department shall mark or sign such street indicating the angle at which vehicles shall be parked.
(b) When signs or markings are in place indicating angle parking, no person shall park or stand a vehicle other than at the angle to the curb or edge of the roadway indicated by such signs or markings.
(c) Angle parking shall not be indicated or permitted at any place where passing traffic would thereby be caused or required to drive over the centerline of any street.
(d) Angle parking shall be permitted on the following streets:
(1) Plumas Street from Colusa Avenue to Bridge Street (both sides), except for a distance of 225 ft. south of Colusa Avenue on the east side and for a distance of 200 ft. south of Colusa Avenue on the west side;
(2) Shasta Street from Teegarden Avenue to Bridge Street (west side);
(3) Second Street from Bridge Street to B Street (both sides);
(4) Bridge Street from Yolo Street to Second Street (both sides);
(5) B Street from Second Street easterly to the levee (both sides);
(6) Plumas Street from Baptist Lane to a point 300 ft. southerly thereof (west side) and from Baptist Lane to Del Norte Avenue (both sides);
(7) Frederick Street from Clark Avenue to Marie Avenue (south side);
(8) Almond Street from Baptist Lane to Del Norte Avenue (east side);
(9) Sutter Street from Bridge Street to Fairman Street (both sides); and
(10) Del Norte Avenue from Shasta Street to Plumas Street (both sides);
(11) South side of Baptist Lane;
(12) East side of Chestnut Street, north of Colusa Avenue to the intersection of Alturas Street.
