6.76.010 - Order to destroy—Notice.

Whenever it comes to the attention of the health officer that castor bean (ricinus communis) plants are growing upon any lots or premises in such a manner as to cause a nuisance or menace to health, he shall order such castor bean (ricinus communis) plants destroyed or removed. The notice shall be in writing and shall set forth the time within which the removal shall be completed.

6.76.020 - Failure to destroy.

No person shall fail, refuse, or neglect to destroy and remove such castor bean (ricinus communis) plants when so ordered by the health officer in the manner specified in Section 6.76.010. Such failure, refusal, or neglect shall be punishable as a misdemeanor.
