§ 2.16.010. Transfer to County.

Pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 2, Article 1, Sections 51500 to and including Section 51507 of the Government Code of the State of California, the City Council elects that the duties of assessing property and the collection of real property and unsecured personal property taxes in the City be transferred to the Assessor and Tax Collector of the County of Alameda, the County in which the City is situated.

§ 2.16.020. Compensation to County.

The City shall pay to the County of Alameda such compensation as may be fixed by agreement between the Board of Supervisors and the City Council and the making of such agreement is authorized.
