3.08.210 - Interference with fire apparatus.

3.08.220 - Driving through funeral processions.

No driver of a vehicle shall drive between the vehicles comprising a funeral procession while they are in motion and when the vehicles in such procession are conspicuously so designated. This provision shall not apply at intersections where traffic is controlled by Police Officers.

3.08.230 - Riding on motorcycles and bicycles.

3.08.240 - Riding bicycles on sidewalks.

No person shall ride a bicycle upon the sidewalk or within any sidewalk area, except at a permanent or temporary driveway.

3.08.250 - Clinging to moving vehicles.

3.08.260 - Vehicles shall not be driven or parked on sidewalks.

The driver of a vehicle shall not:

(a) Drive within any sidewalk area or parkway except at a permanent or temporary driveway;

(b) Park on or within any sidewalk area or parkway; or

(c) Park on or within any permanent or temporary driveway in an area which is a part of any sidewalk area or parkway.

3.08.270 - New pavement.

No person shall ride over or drive any animal or vehicle over or across any newly made pavement or freshly painted marking in any street when a barrier or sign is in place warning persons not to drive over or across such pavement or marking, or when a sign is in place stating that the street, or any portion thereof, is closed.

3.08.280 - Roller skates, skateboards, coasters, and similar devices.

It shall be unlawful and punishable as an infraction for any person upon roller skates or riding on, or by means of, a skateboard, coaster, or similar device to go upon, or alongside, a roadway or a sidewalk in any business district as defined by section 235 of the Vehicle Code of the State, or in, upon, or around City parking lots and public buildings when appropriate signs giving notice thereof have been erected prohibiting such acts. Signs along rights-of-way and parking lots shall be posted at each entrance of such areas and along rights-of-way spaced at intervals of not more than five hundred (500') feet. Signs upon public buildings shall be posted in such a manner as to give reasonable notice.

It shall also be unlawful for any person upon roller skates or riding on or by means of any skateboard or similar device to go upon any private parking lot or shopping center parking lot or shopping center sidewalk provided signs are erected at each entrance to such area prohibiting such acts. Such signs shall be in plain view and shall not be less than seventeen (17') inches by twenty-two (22') inches in height.

The Council, by resolution, may grant approval for the use of roadways and sidewalks for organized skating events of community-wide interest. The Council may impose such conditions and restrictions as it deems necessary to protect the public interest and promote the general welfare.
